Stambia allowed us to accelerate the implementation of our projects thanks to its facility to adapt to heterogeneous environments.
Pioneer of ADEO Group, Leroy Merlin France is now the DIY retail brand leader in the French market for home improvement and lifestyle.
Specializing in the sale of products and projects, it aims to "help each inhabitant to dream and make his home" and puts the satisfaction of each customer at the heart of its business.
We needed an agile solution with a responsiveness and a strong involvement of the publisher. Stambia met our expectations on these points!
Founded in 1998, La Plateforme du Bâtiment is the latest innovation in the building distribution branch - pole "habitat"- of the Saint-Gobain group.
Performance and agility of the ELT part was essential to us as part of our decision strategy! Stambia proved to be a very effective solution compared to the open source solution that we already had. The strong investment of the Stambia team is also a keypoint to our success.
Adeo has 80 000 employees, 30 independent firms in 14 countries and dedicated to 15 brands. It is also more than 265 million "people-customers", 17.3 billion € turnover in 2014 and 6.5% of annual growth.
Data migration is an important issue in LOXAM. We needed a solution that allowed us to industrialize and give us reliability for this strategic phase of our projects!
In 45 years, LOXAM has become Nr. 1 in Europe in the equipment rental area for the Industry and for the Construction and Civil Engineering. The company was gradually established on the entire French and European territory by creating new companies or taking control of other competitors. On December 31st, 2014, the LOXAM group had a network of 628 branches located in 13 European countries.
We strongly believe in Stambia, which takes an increasingly important position in Saint-Maclou. .
SAINT MACLOU is a key player in the sale of customized design solutions for floors (carpet, wooden flooring, tiles ...), walls (paint, wallpaper ...), windows and home decoration (curtains, net curtains, blinds ...). Saint-Maclou has a network of more than 150 stores and 1,500 employees in France.
Following the redesign of their decision-making architecture, St. Maclou has chosen to expand its use of the Stambia solution for a CRM / Web Services project. The customer data is now centralized. Each store is daily refreshing data from the central repository, using Web Services published by Stambia.
Altares is a major player in the management of information on companies. Its specialty: inter-company knowledge. Altares was born from the merger of the BIL company (Legal Information Base) and Dun & Bradstreet France.
The Intuiz Project
A major player in the sales of added-value information on companies, Altares has to provide reliable, accurate and complete data, but also to allow its customers to discover, explore and analyze information.
To meet this need of discovery and data mining, Altares created a new offer, "Intuiz", thats relies on new concepts for user interface, navigation and data representation. Intuiz allows customers to perform a crossed and progressive exploration of various information, whether digital nomenclatures or financial results, but also the related legal texts.
The aim of the project was twofold :
The technical background
The first step of the Intuiz project involved the migration of data from a DB2 / 400 environment to an Oracle environment.
The transition from the previous operating system to the new software architecture involved not only the movement but also the transformation and standardization of the data to match the format expected by Intuiz.
Altares business is based primarily on the quality of its data, so the migration had to provide a significant number of controls and cross checks to ensure that the output data semantics had not been changed bet-ween the two systems.
Today, the daily data flows feeding the Intuiz application continue to be powered by Stambia.
Stambia Key benefits
« Stambia allowed us to quickly achieve our objective, with high levels of performance, and very high reactivity on behalf of the software company » Yann de Pontbriand, Chief Information Officer
« The E-LT approach of the transformation provided by Stambia allowed us to be in line with the performances needed by the project. This also gave us the native ma-nagement of the underlying technologies ».
The natural openness and malleability of Stambia al-lowed Altares to adapt standard components to take into account the business particularities related to the trade of Altares, including the concepts of traceability and historization of data changes.
Finally, the simplicity of the offer and the presence of the software company alongside the development and design teams were key in meeting deadlines and leading the project to success. Stambia also enabled rapid autonomy in the use of new concepts..
